Mountains in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan is home to the impressive and magnificent mountains that dot the countryside. In the Tien Shan region, in the east of Kazakhstan, lies Khan Tengri, also known as "Prince of Spirits", towering 7010 meters tall and covered in snow. Further west lies the incredible Ak Tash mountain, over 6300 meters tall and situated in the Ustyurt region. Both are part of the impressive array of peaks in Kazakhstan. In the far north, one can find the Altay Mountains, hosting incredible valleys and vast lakes. To the south, in the Western Pamir region, is Lenin Peak, one of the highest peaks of Kazakhstan, at 7134 meters. Everywhere you go in Kazakhstan, it seems as though there are always mountains in view, casting their imposing and awe-inspiring silhouettes against the sky.
