Mountains in Chile

Chile is a country of diverse landscapes, with a long and narrow shape that stretches along the western coast of South America. One of its most notable features is the Andes mountain range, which runs along the eastern border of the country. The Andes are home to many of Chile's most famous peaks, including the towering Ojos del Salado, which is the highest active volcano in the world. Other notable mountains in Chile include the Fitz Roy range in Patagonia, which features jagged peaks and glaciers, and the Villarrica volcano, which is popular for skiing and snowboarding.
