Mountains in Australia

Although Australia is known for its vast deserts and beaches, it also has several mountain ranges worth exploring. The Great Dividing Range is the largest mountain range in Australia, stretching over 3,500 kilometers along the east coast. The highest peak in the range is Mount Kosciuszko, standing at 2,228 meters tall. The Australian Alps are also a popular destination for skiing and hiking, with peaks like Mount Bogong and Mount Feathertop attracting outdoor enthusiasts.
